The new season jumps forward in time a little, with Steven Yeun's Mark now being 19 years old and set to face some new challenges this time around, with co-showrunner Simon Racioppa telling SFX magazine (via The Direct) that "he's not going to be the same person that he was in season 2".
He added: "And at the end of season 3, I can promise you, he's not the same person he was at the start of season 3."
